In some fifteen paintings, he presents his view of women.His art can be described as erotic. Men and women, alone and together, are transformed, dissolve, and reach states of erotic pleasure and joy. By twisting and reshaping the figures, Ibbo believes that he achieves a stronger physical relationship with things than if he depicted them in a more simply sensitive and contemplative manner.Ibbo is influenced by Pop Art and the art of comics. He depicts small sequences from human existence. In his works, he develops a figure from a completely naturalistic representation, through various stages to pure abstraction, and then back again. He seeks to sketch the irrational thoughts that pass through a person’s mind while making love.Jeff Ibbo comes from Copenhagen, where his work has attracted considerable attention.
