"Running Dog One And Done" is the first issue of the Running Dog Press magazine. The attempt of this publication is to present the documents of the experiments and explorations artists are undertaking today on an international level. Its scope is to be inclusive of the reports and ideas of those individuals involved in research, and hopes to see the definition of "artist" expand to include the contributions from scientific and sociological fields as well. In this premiere, RDP felt that what is most important is the communication and sharing of the information found inside. A need is felt to make this information available in Chicago and to share with the outside the works of Chicagoans.
This issue is a collective effort and is made available by the energy and contributions of all the artists included.
"...One And Done" is unbound because this issue is not thematic and is a collection of various materials from a diversity of places and mental spaces. It is also unbound so that the readers can recycle the pages within their own information systems. Feel free to take out what you like and share it with others. Also, the current addresses of the contributors are included so that you can make contacts and establish your own communication links.
I hope you enjoy looking at this magazine and I am open to your feedback and ideas.
Fondly,
Michael Crane
