PAUL ARMAND GETTEJARDINS BOTANIQUES21-23.08.1974
PAUL-ARMAND GETTE opens Galerie S:t Petri’s autumn 1974 programme with his exhibition “Jardins Botaniques” (“Botanical Gardens”).
From 21–23 August his studies of botanical gardens will be shown—what Gette regards as a re-organisation of nature with labelled plants, mountains, etc.—from Lund, Lyon, Paris, Amsterdam and Copenhagen. The gathering of this material began last year.
This exhibition is a further development of the manifestation “La nature en sable,” which took place at the Centre Culturel Suédois in Paris (1972), in which the artist Jean Le Gac also took part and Paul-Armand Gette gave a lecture.
Last year and in 1972 Galerie S:t Petri presented similar short exhibitions by Paul-Armand Gette, “La campagne” and “Ringsjön” respectively—the gallery wishes, after all, to follow certain experimental artists’ “investigations.”
The exhibition is open on weekdays from 3 pm to 8 pm.
